Goo goo for Gaga!
I am obsessed with Lady Gaga's new single Bad Romance. Not only do I love the sweet dance moves, I love the Alexander McQueen gear she is sporting in the video. I will be singing this in my prius for weeks to come!

Now the sizing of the Gap's shirts these shirts are a bit off. I usually wear a medium shirt.
In this shirt, I needed a large. And in others, a small. So try on before you leave! :)
I also got this.. a la Rachel Zoe.

Weekend Mini Shopping Spree!
So this weekend I went on a mini shopping spree and I just had to share my GREAT finds. My shopping outing consisted of a little Target, TJ Maxx and Old Navy. Now usually I can absolutely not stand the thought sifting through the racks at TJ Maxx BUT I met a friend of mine there to give it another shot and I am so glad I did! And who knew they had such cute paisley wall paper in the dressing room! :)
Tahh dahh!
Purchase 1: fabulous caramel colored cowl neck sweater dress. love.
Purchase 2: super cozy heather grey open front cardigan. love. love.
Also picked up 2 super cute Annalee Thanksgiving collectors items for my mommy dearest.
I was really impressed with the selection of scarfs and the home decor department. I definitely will add TJ Maxx to my shopping rounds.
Oh and look at the super cute wallpaper in the dressing rooms!
Have you found any really super finds at TJ Maxx or Ross? I'd love to know. Pictures? Please share! :)

The Holidays
Morning Peeps!
So I have to say the "holidays" are my favorite time of year. Although is still 80 degrees in San Antonio, I am still getting my game face on for the holiday parties, decorating, shopping, new recipes, etc. It's my FAV season! When my husband and I stopped by our house to pick up a few things yesterday. (We are currently staying with his grandmother due to not feeling so hot lately, feeling much better now-thanks!) Anyway. I did get out all of my holiday decor boxes. I'm REALLY excited.
Another really exciting part of the holidays is the tacky sweater/grand opening party my best friend and her boyfriend are having at their home in Plano. Also, what a stellar idea for a housewarming party during the holidays! Love it! While searching around on Etsy, I found the most perfect holiday semi tacky sweater dress with some serious 80's moments under it's belt. Paired with my J.Crew riding boots and leggings. I think it's a winner. Next task- finding a Bill Cosby-esqe sweater for my husband! Love to hear your advise and thoughts on the sweater dress. Pics to come! :) Wish me luck! Toodles.

Wedding Shower or Bachelorette Party ideas:
- Pass out blank cards to the guests of the shower or party. Have them fill up the card with silly and heartfelt advise for the bride. After dinner or some time during the party, give the cards to the bride to open for later or to open and read aloud to the group. This is such a sweet and memorable idea.
- Run a few ideas past your bride to be friend, make sure the events and decor are what the bride is comfortable with.
- Bring a flip cam and take video clips throughout the party.
- Instead of playing shower games, decorate flip flops for the bride and bridesmaids to wear at the reception. While sipping cocktails, flip through fashion and wedding magazines to collect hair and make up pictures that you want to recreate of the wedding day.

Just the Beginning..
I have been thinking about what type of blog I wanted to start. My husband and I were married on October 3rd 2009. Since I have such an interest in so many areas, I've decided I will cover a little bit of everything. First, I want to share some ideas from my wedding festivities. Coming soon.. some of the inexpensive touches that made my wedding very special. If you have any questions about weddings.. where to save? what to spend on? etc? Please leave a comment :) More coming soon!
