Okay so I don't watch the Rachel Ray show everyday. But her show did inspire me to post this necklace picture this morning. I noticed the necklace she was wearing on her show this morning and that it looks very similar to a faith necklace that I carry. I haven't seen it in person yet, but I definitely think that it needs to be added to my inventory.

Basics 101

So I am sitting here with my morning coffee watching a Rachel Ray segment on the best basics to have in your wardrobe. Some of the staples in my wardrobe matched the Rachel Ray segment, but I thought I would expand on it just a bit. First things first!

These are absolutely the best pair of undies you will ever own! I have moved from Victoria Secret to Gap body back to Victoria Secret but no more my friends. These Hanky Pankys ARE the best thing in my wardrobe. Everyone feels a little bit better is great fitting foundation garments. When I got married, I put together a fun gift bag for all of my bridesmaids and every single one has come back to tell me what they are hooked on these undies. They come in amazing colors and prints. They have an amazing website and they are on twitter, which I love! Guys, think Valentine's Day?? They are one-size-fits-all, she will LOVE them.

Now I have completely been spoiled by these puppies! No longer so I wish I would have brought my flats to change into. These fabulous pumps from Cole Haan have Nike technology in the soles to keep each step as comfortable as the last.

Hanes V-neck Tshirts
These are another one of my favorite key items for my wardrobe. I LIVE in these. These white t-shirts come in a pack of 6 or 8 and they cost $8 or $10. My girlfriends get inexpensive dye at the grocery store and make them in all sorts of colors. I haven't ventured to do that yet, but its on my to-do list. The fit is outstanding! They don't pull, or lose shape. They are so comfy and so versatile. I wear them casually with jeans and a sweater or dressed up to go out with layers of long necklaces and skinny jeans. You must, must, must check these out. I love them!

As much as I heart the holidays and the "cold" San Antonio weather, I do love when the new spring arrivals hit the stores. These are two dresses that I will absolutely be picking up at Old Navy for Spring. Both of these little numbers for spring! Bright colored or metallic flats and accessories of choice and you are good to go!

I'm Bringing Velcro Back!

The first product that rocks my world is my new set of Velcro rollers! These little gems have been such a time saver! After getting out of the shower & blow-drying my hair, I throw in the two largest sized rollers. I start with the crown, then move to the front pieces, then to the back. They leave my locks voluminous and perfectly sleek and styled without taking the time to heat and style with a curling iron, hot rollers, or straightener. After the rollers are in place, I do my make up & coffee, then remove the rollers and I'm ready for the day!

I purchased my rollers at Target for less than $12.

Now I am guilty of falling into the same boring make up habits. I usually wait until I am running low on foundation to think twice about switching it up. gloDust 24k in Silver- This is a very fine shimmer powder that has endless possibilities! My make up artist Victoria, dusted on a light highlight above my cheekbones and a little dab in my tear duct areas. This added a little something special to my everyday look. It was so appropriate and polished for everyday and this product can enhance all of the shades of blush/gloss in your current makeup arsenal.
